Anglian Water Business Partnership Fund Application

Anglian Water is offering grants for new and innovative ideas to help businesses across the region save every drop.

With less rainfall, hotter weather and more people, our water supplies are under serious pressure. At current rates, demand will outstrip supply as there’s only so much we can take out of our environment.

Businesses, big and small, can make a huge difference to the amount of water they can save each year; leaving more in the environment for nature to thrive today while securing supplies for tomorrow. Saving water will also save you more on water and energy bills – so it’s good for your business and the planet!

Anglian Water will provide up to £40,000 in funding to support eligible projects deliver water savings.

All sections of the application form must be completed in accordance with section header and each section, including tables and diagrams, must be clear, concise, and well presented. Payment of any funding will be subject to the successful applicant entering into a short funding agreement with Anglian Water.

Project Summary Information  - Please provide the following information

Project objective - Provide a high-level description of the purpose for the project, describing the problem to be addressed, the proposed solution and intended deliverables; state the anticipated benefits and the identifiable beneficiaries and how those benefits will be measured.   This description must be a brief ‘elevator pitch’ (no more than 500 words) and can include a simple picture or diagram to help illustrate the objectives which can be uploaded at the end of this form.

Project scope - Provide a description of activities considered to be within the scope of the project and detail where these are not considered business as usual activities.

Project risks/constraints - Provide detail of all identified project risks/constraints. Consider time, scope, resources, and quality; any key dates identified for project start, project end, Detail risk mitigations. 

Project benefits - Describe the problem(s) the project intends to address and the solution(s) the project is expecting to achieve in more detail. Quantify the m3/d savings and any further benefits or future opportunities that may be enabled or highlighted.

Project Structure/Governance - Will this project be managed ‘in-house’ with resource provided by the customer, or will it be passed to a 3rd party organisation to deliver the project. If this a split between the two options above, please indicate a percentage split.
