We’re building a 39-kilometre water pipeline between Grantham and Peterborough.

It will eventually join up with the other planned pipelines to the north and south, forming the network that stretches from North Lincolnshire to Essex. 

Update on works 

Following our break over the winter months, due to ground conditions, we're back to pipelaying from Grantham to Peterborough. This will continue until mid-2027 and when complete, we’ll move into the reinstatement and commissioning phases of the project.  

Supporting works 

We are upgrading West Pinchbeck and Sutterton pumping stations.

We continue to minimise our impact on communities and the environment, and work with local communities to deliver a legacy along the route.
