On 10th March we were delighted to hold our very first Self Lay Engagement Event. A collaborative day which bought together key players from across our region in exploring the upcoming changes to Ofwat measures within the industry to help strengthen relationships and ways of working.
The event was attended by a diverse group of Self-Lay companies, showcasing a wide range of experience and expertise within the industry. Our Self Lay teams gave an overview of how we are structured internally allowing for a collaborative environment to be created.
We held informative presentations and market stalls which included, smart metering, our internal processes, assurance visits and water quality. A group session took place where we discussed as a group any challenges our Self Lay customers experience.
Our feedback from the day was positive with our customers finding the event educational and informative, along with it being a great opportunity to provide feedback, ask questions and meet the teams.
Our next steps are to take away all the fantastic suggestions and issues that were raised with a view to streamline our processes to ensure we are building trust with our customers.
